Maple Mustard Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 (5 – ounce) salmon filets

  • 1 tb. maple syrup 

  • 1 tb. dijon mustard

  • 2 cloves of minced garlic or 1 tb. garlic paste

  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

  2. In a cooking bowl, whisk together maple syrup, mustard, garlic, olive oil and salt and pepper.

  3. Add salmon filets and let marinade for a minimum of 30 minutes and up to 2 hours if possible.

  4. Place salmon in a foil wrapped cooking sheet and place in the oven at a temperature of 425 degrees.

  5. Remove from the oven, let cool, and serve!
