Creamy Spiced Lentil and Quinoa Detox Salad

Ingredients
Lentils
1 package (2 cups) of steamed lentils (I use the Trader Joe's ones)
1 Tb. olive oil
1 Tb. garlic paste
1 Tb. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. of the following spices: tumeric, cumin, curry and and cardamon
S+P to taste
Dressing
1/2 cup water
1/4 tahini
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1 tsp. dijon mustard
1 tsp. capers
1 tsp. garlic paste
1 tsp. coconut aminos
1 tb. lemon juice
1 tb. apple cider vinegar
Salad
4 cups of chopped romaine lettuce
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 chopped red cabbage
1/2 cup cilantro
Directions
Lentils
In a large bowl, break apart lentils with a fork.
Add olive oil, lemon, garlic paste and seasonings and toss until fully coated.
Set aside.
Dressing
Blend all dressing ingredients until you achieve a creamy consistency.
Salad
Chop romaine hearts, cabbage and cilantro by hand.
Add quinoa. lentils and dressing and toss until fully coated.
Serve and enjoy!
